Member’s Privileges

1. Interactions with other entrepreneurs and government officials

The Chamber organizes inter-chamber networking sessions like MGCIP’s Golf Tournament and dinner periodically for members to meet community members, government officials and other China-Malaysia entrepreneurs for business leads and to build relationship.

2. Economics Forum

From time to time, the Chamber invites speakers to present topics of interest to the Malaysian business community in China. Such talks may include topics on taxation, finance and accounting, human resources, corporate regulations, etc.


3. Business-related Events

The Chamber supports and organizes business events and seminars by holding economic forums, business communication meetings, Guangdong-Malaysia Bilateral Business Council and others annually in Guangdong Zhuhai city or Kuala Lumpur.


4. Social and educational activities

The Chamber aims to help members and their families pursue social and educational interests. These activities include dinners, MGCIP’s Golf Tournament, business study trips overseas, etc.


5. Regular interaction with other chambers

Members are regularly invited to events organized by other chambers of commerce, both local and foreign. These events include business road shows, exhibitions or investment seminars organized by the local governments in both countries.


6. News alerts, exchange and referrals

These provide information, breaking news, sharing of experiences in doing business in China, visa applications, immigrant regulations and business opportunities. Members also receive an annual year book and membership directory.


7. Communication and consulting

The Chamber facilitates members’ liaison with or petitions to government officials and agencies on matters that affect their interests. It also offer consulting services to members, especially in areas of setting up business operations, human resources, etc.


8. Learn from other entrepreneurs

Members are invited to attend events with visiting businessmen to learn from their success of doing business in China.
